Ammonium Iodoplatinate, (NH4)2PtI6
Ammonium Iodoplatinate, (NH4)2PtI6, crystallises in cubo-octa-hedra having a black colour and a metallic lustre. The solution is unstable, a deposit of platinum tetra-iodide being obtained on standing.
