Hydroxylamine Platinocyanide, (NH2OH)2H2Pt(CN)4

Hydroxylamine Platinocyanide, (NH2OH)2H2Pt(CN)4.2H2O, has been prepared2 in a similar manner to the preceding salt. Upon crystallisation at the ordinary temperature, red crystals are deposited which are stable and admit of accurate analysis. When gently warmed they become yellow in colour, but return to their red hue on cooling. The change is probably due to partial dehydration.
