Potassium Thio-platinate, K2Pt4S6
Potassium Thio-platinate, K2Pt4S6, is a crystalline powder obtained by heating together platinum sponge and six times its weight of a mixture of equal parts of sulphur and potassium carbonate. Density 6.44 at 15° C.
The Sodium salt, Na2Pt4S6, has also been described. |
