Barium Pentachlor-hydroxy-platinate, BaPtCl5(OH)

Barium Pentachlor-hydroxy-platinate, BaPtCl5(OH).4H2O, which is prepared by neutralising a solution of the acid with baryta water. On concentration in a desiccator the salt crystallises out in orange-yellow prisms.
